Samyuktha Menon is a Malayalam film actress, who shot to fame after playing female protagonist in super hit Theevandi in 2018. She was paired with Tovino Thomas for this movie. She worked with Dulquer Salman in 2019 hit film Oru Yamandan Premakadha and played the titular role in Lilli. In 2018 she marked her Tamil debut through Kalari, and also appeared in July Kaatril. With handful of projects and a few hits to her credit, Menon has a promising career ahead.

Theevandi was her first noticed role

Samyuktha Menon hails from Palakkad. She was born on 11th September 1995. While she was preparing for her entrance exams after Plus Two, one of her photos uploaded on Facebook caught the attention of a photographer who thought she could become a cover model. Till then, she never thought of a career in modeling or the film industry. She made her debut in 2016 with the Malayalam film Popcorn in a supporting role. Two years later, she bagged her second project in a lead role, through Theevandi, and earned wide appreciation. The video song – Jeevamsamaayi from Theevandi and the trailer of Lilli earned her a lot of fans before the release of both these movies. She played the role of a pregnant lady in the woman-centric movie, Lilli.

After the success of Theevandi, she worked with Tovino Thomas in two 2020 releases, Kalki and Edakkad Battalion 06. She worked with DQ in Oru Yamandan Premakadha in 2020. Now she is one of the most sought-after young heroines of Malayalam cinema. She signed a string of projects in 2020, which include – Vellam aside Jayasurya. She marked her Tamil debut with Kalari in 2018, and later worked in July Katril. She had 6 releases in 2019, including the Asif Ali-starrer Underworld.

Post-Pandemic, she worked in different South Indian industries. Vaathi and Virupaksha, both released in 2023, are her acclaimed roles in Tamil and Telugu cinema, respectively.
