Saloni Mishra – Telugu film actress of ‘Falaknuma Das’ fame

Saloni Mishra is a Telugu film actress, who marked her screen debut with the movie, Falaknuma Das in the year 2019. A Telugu remake of Malayalam hit movie, Angamali Diaries, Saloni shared screen space with Vishwaksen Naidu and Harshita Gaur in the movie, Falaknuma Das, which received mixed reviews from critics. She played the lead role of Zoya, a bubbly doctor in the movie. She did her second movie, 22 (2020) co-starring Rupesh Kumar Choudhary, and the movie was directed by B. Shiva Kumar.

Saloni Mishra originally hails from Punjab and was born in year 1994. She grew up in Auckland, New Zealand, where she completed her schooling. Later she moved back to her hometown and completed Fashion designing degree in Mumbai. Initially she worked as a model in the industry, before she got her first acting break through Falaknuma Das in 2019. She was given the first break to industry by director Vishwaksen Naidu, who played lead role in the movie as well. The movie received fantastic response from viewers and netizens for its content and theme. Action thriller, 22 (2020) was her second Telugu release.

1. She has done modelling for several leading brands in India, along with pursuing her fashion designing studies.

2. She has been a belly dancer of 9 years and has performed before audience, before joining Telugu film industry.

3. She started belly dancing at the age of 11 while at New Zealand, which was quite common in the country. She now teaches students from the age of 5 to 62.

4. She has appeared as a ramp model for Lakme Fashion Week multiple times. Many people have suggested her to join films, after watching her on ramp.

5. She has always inclined towards South Indian films rather than Bollywood, and prefers to do meaty roles than being an eye candy.

6. She shared a lip lock in her debut movie with the lead hero, Vishwaksen Naidu of Falaknuma Das, who also marks his screen and directorial debut with the film.
