Panineer Petti

Ingredients for Panineer Petti:

1. Maida – 250 gm

    Egg – 2

    Milk – 1 cup

2. Sugar – 250 gm

3. Rose essence – 1 small spoon

4. Egg – 4

    Sugar – 5 big spoons

    Cardamom powder – A pinch

5. Ghee – As required

6. Cashews – 25 gm

    Raisins – 25 gm

How to prepare Panineer Petti?

1. Add a little water to ingredients no: 1 and prepare a thin batter.

2. Take sugar in a pan and add water to it till the level of sugar.

3. Boil it well to prepare the sugar solution.

4. When it cools, add essence.

5. Blend ingredients no: 4 together in a bowl to prepare an egg-sugar mixture.

6. Heat ghee in a pan and add raisins and cashews.

7. Before it turns brown, add the egg-sugar mixture.

8. Reduce the flame and keep stirring till it turns grainy.

9. Place a tawa in the stove and grease it with a little ghee.

10. Prepare pancakes using a maida mixture.

11. When one side is almost done, place a small spoonful of egg mixture at the centre.

12. Fold all the sides of the pancake inwards to get a box-like structure.

13. Flip once and cook the other side as well.

14. Before you serve Panineer Petti, pour a spoonful of sugar-essence solution on its top.
