Onion Thoran (Ulli Thoran)

Ingredients for Onion Thoran (Ulli Thoran):

1. Onions – 3 big, sliced thin

    Turmeric powder – ¼ small spoon

    Green chillies – 2, chopped

    Coconut scrapped – 1 cup

    Salt – For taste

    Pot tamarind – 1 cloves

    Water – 1 small spoon

2. Curry leaves – 1 stem

    Coconut oil – 1 small spoon

How to prepare Onion Thoran (Ulli Thoran)?

1. Rub ingredients no: 1 together manually and cook in pressure cooker.

2. Wait till three whistles and put off the flame.

3. When pressure drops to zero, open the lid of the cooker.

4. Add curry leaves and coconut oil and mix the contents.

5. Boil the thoran till water content is fully absorbed and put off the flame.
