Nivetha Pethuraj was born in Madurai, Tamil Nadu, in 1991. She was raised in Thoothukudi and Dubai. She moved to Dubai at the age of 11, where she lived for the next 10 years. While in Dubai, she started her career as a model and won the Miss India UAE pageant, which gave her a major break into movies. In her debut movie, Oru Naal Koothu, she shared screen space with Dinesh, Miya and Abhinav. Later she appeared in a series of Tamil and Telugu movies and is now a well-established name in the South Indian film industry.

1. She has worked as a professional fitness instructor before joining films. She has also served as a VIP hostess for events organised by fashion brands.
