Niranj Suresh is an independent musician and playback singer from Edapally, associated with Malayalam music industry. He is the lead vocalist and a songwriter of the musical band, Blank planet, which released the first single – Maya in 2016. He is also the lead vocalist of Motherjane. Now he is gearing up for the release of his first solo album. Now he is one of the most heard young and talented playback singers of the Malayalam film industry, who has made a distinct mark for his unique voice and rendition.

“Nannaavoolla” song of Asha Black in 2014 marked his debut, a year after he joined Blank planet. Later he sang for Beware of Dogs, Rockstar, and 2 Countries, before he earned an identity of his own through the title track of Thoppil Joppan composed by Vidyasagar. Later he worked with Prashant Pillai for the movies – Anuraga Karikkin Vellam, Sakhavu, and Solo. He also sang compositions of Gopi Sundar, Bijilal, Shaan Rahman etc. Innalekalilil in Godha, Poomuthole of Joseph and Thechille Penne of Role Model are some of his popular songs.

1. After learning music for two years at school, he moved to the theatre and appeared in many stage plays. He was also a member of a performing troupe – Mazhavillu.
2. He got into the college band after attending his audition, and he is an engineer by academics who completed his course from MA College of Engineering, Kothamangalam.
3. His parents are physics professors and his mother is a research guide too.
4. He played brief roles in Malayalam flicks – ABCD, Love 24×7, and Anuraga Karikkin Vellam.
