Nellikka Arachu Kalakki (Salted Gooseberry Curry)

Ingredients for Nellikka Arachu Kalakki (Salted Gooseberry Curry):

1. Salted gooseberry – 3

    Coconut scrapped – ½ cup

    Ginger – 1 small piece

    Green chillies – 2

    Cumin seeds – ½ small spoon

    Curd – 2 big spoons

    Salt – For taste

2. Coconut oil – 1 big spoon

3. Mustard – ½ small spoon

4. Curry leaves – 1 stem

    Red chillies – 3

How to prepare Nellikka Arachu Kalakki (Salted Gooseberry Curry)?

1. Remove seeds of salted gooseberries.

2. Make a smooth paste of ingredients no: 1 using a mixer.

3. Heat oil in an earthen pot and sputter mustard seeds.

4. Add red chillies and curry leaves.

5. Add this oil to gooseberry-coconut paste and mix well.
