Neha Amandeep – Popular Bengali Television Actress

Neha Amandeep is an Indian model and Bengali television actress. She has also appeared in a few movies belonging to Bangla and Odia languages. She started her career as a child artist in year 2004 through Hindi soap Sahib Biwi Gulam in 2004. Stree in 2016 marked her debut in Bangla Television, and she later appeared in Om Namah Shivay, Durgatinashini Durga, Thakumar Jhuli, Kone Bou etc. She appeared in Bangla television films – Jayo Jayo Debi and Chore Chore Mastuto Bhai, and also Odia film – Hey Prabhu Dekha De and Bangladeshi film, Prem Chor.

Neha Amandeep is of Punjabi origin and was born in year 1997 in Kolkata. She has worked as a child artist in Hindi soap Sahib Biwi Gulam, and later started her career as a model, before she turned a full-time actress. She marked her small screen debut at the age of 8. However she accepted her second TV role only in 2016, after a hiatus of more than 10 years. She played the protagonist Nirupama in the show, Stree. Since then she is regular in Bengali entertainment industry, mostly playing lead roles.  In 2018 she played the lead role of Sati in the mythological series, Om Namah Shivay. Among all co-stars her pairing with Gourab Mandal, especially in Om Namah Shivay was well appreciated.

1. She has been paired with Gourab Mandal for two Bangla TV shows.

2. Her name has been credited as Amandeep Sonkar in her early show, Stree. She was studying in class 12 while accepting her first lead role.

3. She is also a singer, who uploads her videos in TikTok.

4. Travelling and listening music are her favourite hobbies. She also loves singing and shopping.
