Fried Cauliflower dipped in Egg
This preparation can be done in many easy methods of different variants. Here is one such.
Ingredients for fried cauliflower:
- Cauliflower – 1 small
- Lemon juice – from 1 lemon
- Egg – 2
- Bread crumbs – 1.5 cups
- Black pepper powder – ½ tsp
- Oil – as required
- Water – 6 cups
- Salt – as needed
How to fry cauliflower?
- Separate cauliflower into petals and clean well using warm water.
- Boil 6 cups of water adding lemon juice, salt and add cauliflower to it. Boil it for 8 minutes for softening. Never over cook it.
- Then use a cotton cloth to remove water content from cauliflower.
- Mix eggs and pepper powder with a little salt.
- Dip each petal in this egg mixture and roll in bread crumbs and fry in hot oil.
- Fried cauliflower should be light brown in colour.
