Drumstick Soup (Muringakka Soup)

 

Ingredients for Drumstick Soup (Muringakka Soup):

1. Drumstick – 1 kg

    Salt – As required

2. Oil – 1 small spoon

3. Tomato – 100 gm chopped

    Onions – 100 gm chopped

    Garlic -2 cloves, sliced

4. Sugar and pepper powder – As required

How to prepare Drumstick Soup (Muringakka Soup)?

1. Cut drumstick to three inch pieces.

2. Cook drumstick adding water and salt. Water level should immerse drumstick pieces.

3. Once drumstick pieces are cooked drain off excess water and keep aside.

4. Split drumstick into two pieces and take the pulp inside. Smash it well.

5. Heat oil and sauté ingredients no: 3 till they loss the bad flavour.

6. Allow it to cool and then blend well in a mixer.

7. Add smashed drumstick to it, along with sugar and pepper powder.

8. Use the water used to cooked drumstick to cook the contents again.

9. Prepare the soup in low flame. Boil the contents till it get thickens.

10. Your Drumstick Soup is ready. Serve hot.
