Mutton – Green Peas Stew recipe

Ingredients for Mutton – Green Peas Stew:

1. Mutton, small pieces – 1 cup

2. Salt – As required

    Black pepper powder – 1 small spoon

    Turmeric powder – ½ small spoon

3. Oil – As required

4. Garam masala (as whole) – 2 small spoons

    Ginger, garlic and green chillies crushed – 1 small spoon each

5. Onions finely chopped – ¼ cup

6. Green peas (3/4th cooked) – ½ cup

7. Coconut milk – ½ cup

How to prepare Mutton – Green Peas Stew?

1. Mix mutton pieces with ingredients no: 2.

2. Cook mutton in a pressure cooker till 7 or 8 whistles.

3. Heat oil and sauté ingredients no: 4.

4. Add onions and sauté again.

5. When onions change colour, add mutton and green peas and cook till the water content is fully absorbed.

6. Reduce the flame, add coconut milk and salt.

7. When the contents get heated, take them off the flame.
