Ingredients for Muringakka-Chakkakuru-Maangaa Paal Curry (Drumstick-Jackseed-Mango Curry):
1. Drumstick – 2
2. Jackfruit seed – 10, chopped lengthwise
3. Turmeric powder – ¼ small spoon
Chilli powder – 1.5 small spoons
Coriander powder – 1 small spoon
4. Coconut milk second extract – 2 cups (prepared from one coconut)
5. Salt – As required
Mango green medium-sized (with sour taste) – 1, cut into big square pieces
6. Coconut milk first extract – 1 cup
7. Coconut oil – 1 big spoon
8. Mustard – ½ small spoon
Shallots – 2, chopped into fine, round pieces
Red chillies – 2, cut into two
Curry leaves – 1 stalk
How to prepare Muringakka-Chakkakuru-Maangaa Paal Curry (Drumstick-Jackseed-Mango Curry)?
1. Cut drumsticks into two-inch pieces and split them into two.
2. Cook the drumstick along with the jackfruit seed, ingredients no: 3, and the coconut milk second extract.
3. When it’s half done, add mango pieces and sufficient salt.
4. When the ingredients are fully cooked, add the first extract of coconut milk.
5. When your curry is well heated, take it from the flame. No need to boil well.
6. Heat coconut oil and sauté ingredients no: 8 and add it to your drumstick-mango curry before you serve.
