Ingredients for Mixed Fruit Payasam:
- Big-sized banana (Kerala banana) – 2, cut into small pieces
- Apple – 1, big, cut into small pieces
- Pineapple – 3 pieces
- Ghee – 50 gm
- Jaggery – 250 gm
- Coconut milk 1st and 2nd extract – From 1 coconut
- Milk – 2 glasses
- Cardamom powder – 5 gm
- Cashews – 25 gm
- Raisins – 25 gm
How to prepare Mixed Fruit Payasam?
- Heat ghee in an urli and fry cashews and raisins.
- Keep the fried cashews and raisins aside.
- In the remaining ghee, add pieces of pineapple, apple, and banana.
- Cook till the contents are almost cooked and blend well.
- Add the jaggery mixture and mix well.
- When the contents are almost dry, add 2nd extract of coconut milk and mix well.
- Boil your payasam till it thickens, and then add cardamom powder.
- Mix it well and add milk.
- Blend the contents well, and before it starts boiling, add 1st extract of coconut milk.
- When your payasam starts boiling, take it off the flame.
- Sprinkle fried raisins and cashews on top.
