*Meenam & Medam – Hot summer months in Kerala (March mid-May mid) & monsoon arrives in half-way of Idavam; Season of mangoes too.

Songs of 90s were so rich in lyrics & abundant in Sanskrit words too. Lyricists had deep knowledge of culture & social life too. Many words look so easy, but not in common use. As times changed, rural culture slowly moved to urban, such songs also slowly faded.

Kilukkam played an important role in giving super stardom to Mohanlal, also Jagathy for his comic role. Movie remade by same director -Priyadarshan as Muskurahat, in Hindi, flopped at box office. Revathy reprised her role in Hindi too. Amrish Puri reprised Thilakan’s father role in Hindi version.
