Mayuri Kyatari – Kannada film actress best known for her debut movie, Krishna Leela

Mayuri Kyatari is a model and film actress associated with Kannada film industry. She has worked as an anchor for 4 years and also appeared in one Kannada Tv serial, Ashwini Nakshatra, before she made an impressive debut on celluloid through 2015 hit movie, Krishna Leela. This single movie, where she was paired with Ajai Rao made her a household name among Kannada audiences, and also bagged her nominations at Filmfare and IIFA Utsavam Awards for Best actress in a lead role. She has done more than a dozen of Kannada movies till now, and is currently a popular actress.

Mayuri Kyatari hails from Hubli, Karnataka. Her childhood and younger days were spent in her hometown where she completed her school and college studies. She started her professional career as an anchor and also did modelling before she bagged her first acting role through TV series, Ashwini Nakshatra. She played Ashwini, wife of a superstar in the series. In 2015, she marked her big screen debut through Krishna Leela, which ran 100 days at theatres. After that she played lead roles in Kariya 2, Raambo 2, Ishtakamya, 8MM Bullet, Rustum, Nanna Prakara, Nataraja Service, Aatakuntu Lekakilla etc. Her parallel lead in Nanna Prakara was well received. She played Vismaya – the girl with golden heart, who gets murdered due to misunderstanding.

Mayuri Kyatari – Some interesting and less-known facts

1. She was born into a middle class family, and she used to walk to school and college till completing PUC. She preferred walking as she didn’t have the luxury to travel by car or any other vehicle.

2. She lost her father in 2016, soon after she joined film industry and gained recognition. Now her mother supports in every walk of her life.

3. She worked as a dubbing artist for Sreeleela, a debutant in KISS.
