Lentil Soup

Ingredients for Lentil Soup:

1. Butter – 25 gm

2. Green gram – 100 gm, washed

    Carrot – 100 gm, chopped

    Onion – 100 gm, chopped

    Celery – 1 stem, chopped

    Radish – 1 small piece, chopped

3. Stock – 3 cups

    Salt and pepper – As needed

    Bay leaf – 1

4. Corn flour – 1 big spoon

    Milk – ½ cup

5. Parsley chopped fine – To decorate

How to prepare Lentil Soup?

1. Heat butter in a pan and sauté ingredients no: 2.

2. Add ingredients no: 3 to it and stir well.

3. When contents boil, reduce the flame and close the lid.

4. Cook the ingredients for 1.5 hours.

5. Mix milk with cornflour and add to your lentil soup.

6. Keep stirring so that your lentil soup won’t stick to bottom.

7. Put off the flame and garnish with chopped parsley. Serve hot.
