
Ingredients for Kozhikaal Masala Varuval (Chicken Leg Dry Masala):
- Chicken leg – 7
- Kashmiri chilli powder – 1 big spoon
Lemon juice – 1 big spoon
Turmeric powder – ¼ small spoon
Salt – As required
Ginger-garlic paste – 1 big spoon - Shallots – 10
Red chillies – 5
Coriander leaves chopped – 1 small spoon
Ginger-garlic paste – 1 big spoon
Tomato – 1 - Coconut oil – As needed
- Onion – 1, chopped
Salt – As needed - Garam masala powder – ¼ small spoon
- Coriander leaves – To decorate
How to prepare Kozhikaal Masala Varuval (Chicken Leg Dry Masala)?
- Clean chicken legs and marinate using ingredients no: 2.
- Keep them in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
- Make a fine paste of ingredients no: 3.
- Heat oil in a frying pan and fry the chicken leg pieces.
- In the remaining oil, sauté the gravy, followed by onions and salt.
- Finally, add fried chicken and garam masala powder and blend well.
- Cook until the gravy turns thick and fully covers the chicken pieces.
- Decorate with coriander leaves and serve.
