Konj Masala (Prawn Masala) in Chef style


 

Ingredients for Konj Masala:

  1. Lobster – 2
  2. Lemon juice – of 1 lemon
  3. Salt – a pinch
  4. Pepper crushed fresh – 1 pinch
  5. Kashmiri chilli – 1 small spoon
  6. Ginger-garlic paste – ½ small spoon
  7. Tamarind juice – ½ tsp
  8. Coconut oil – 1 small spoon
 

Method of preparation:

 
  1. Marinate lobster using all items except coconut oil.
  2. After 20 minutes, add oil to a pan and shallow fry it.
 

Ingredients for Konj Masala:

 
  1. Coconut oil – 2 tsp
  2. Mustard seeds – 1 pinch
  3. Methi powder – 1 pinch
  4. Onion chopped – 1
  5. Garlic – ½ tsp
  6. Green chillies – ½ spoons
  7. Curry leaves – 1 stem
  8. Turmeric powder – 1 pinch
  9. Chilli powder – 1 pinch
  10. Tomato big – 1
  11. Cleaned prawns – 100 gm
  12. Curry leaves chopped – 2 stem
  13. Salt and lemon juice – as needed

Method of preparation of Konj Masala:

  1. Heat coconut oil and splutter mustard and fenugreek seeds.
  2. Add onion, garlic, green chillies and curry leaves and sauté well.
  3. Add masala powders and tomato pieces along with prawns and sauté again.
  4. Add salt and lemon juice and cook dry.
  5. Spread prawn masala in a plate. Place lobsters on the top and serve.
