Kappa Biryani (Tapioca Biryani)


Ingredients for Kappa Biryani (Tapioca Biryani):

1. Coconut oil – 3 small spoons

2. Onions chopped – 3

    Tomato – 2, cut into very fine pieces

    Green chillies crushed – 3

    Garlic paste – 1 small spoon

    Ginger paste – 1 small spoon

    Curry leaves – 2 stalks

3. Chilli powder – 1 small spoon

    Garam masala powder – 1 small spoon

    Chicken masala – 1 small spoon

    Turmeric powder – ½ small spoon

    Pepper powder – ½ small spoon

4. Curd – 2 small spoons

    Water – ½ cup

    Salt – As needed

5. Chicken – 1 kg cut into pieces

6. Eggs whipped – 2

7. Coriander leaves -2 small spoons

8. Tapioca cooked adding enough salt – 1 kg

How to prepare Kappa Biryani (Tapioca Biryani)?

1. Heat oil in a pan and sauté ingredients no: 2.

2. Now sauté ingredients no: 3 along with it and when powders are fried well and pleasant aroma comes in, add ingredients 4 and 5.

3. Mix the contents well, close the lid and cook chicken in low flame.

4. When chicken is done and water content is fully absorbed, add eggs and scramble it along with chicken.

5. Now add coriander leaves and cooked tapioca, mix well and serve.
