Kadala Paripp Dudhli recipe

Ingredients for Kadala Paripp Dudhli:

1. Kadala Paripp (Bengal Gram) – 2 cups
2. Ghee – 6 big spoons
3. Sugar – 1.75 Cups
4. Cardamom – 8, Powdered

How to prepare Kadala Paripp Dudhli?

  1. Wash the Bengal gram and cook it in a pressure cooker, adding sufficient water.
  2. Heat ghee in an urli.
  3. Add cooked Bengal gram to it and stir continuously till the water content is absorbed completely.
  4. Add sugar to it and stir continuously. You can increase or lower the flame in between, as needed.
  5. When the mixture gets fried and turns golden brown, add cardamom powder and turn the flame off.
  6. Apply ghee to a steel container and transfer the mixture to it.
  7. Spread it using your hands and cut into square pieces before the mixture cools off.
  8. You can serve once Kadala Paripp Dudhli gets cooled.
