
Ingredients of Irumban Puli Serbat (Bilimbi Serbat):
- Bilimbi well ripen – ½ kg
- Sugar – 1 cup
- Water – 4 cups
- Cloves and cinnamon – 4 each
How to prepare Irumban Puli Serbat (Bilimbi Serbat)?
- Wash the bilimbis and keep them aside.
- Boil 4 cups of water in it.
- Add sugar also, mix well, and allow to cool.
- Make a bundle of cloves and cinnamon using a cotton cloth and immerse it in this solution.
- You can serve after 10 days.
Note: You can also serve this drink without adding water. You can prepare 2 bottles of Ilumban Puli Serbat using the above method. One glass of drink contains energy 7%, vitamin A -1 %, and Vitamin C – 1.5 %.
