Bilimbi Serbat recipe

Ingredients of Irumban Puli Serbat (Bilimbi Serbat):

  1. Bilimbi well ripen – ½ kg
  2. Sugar – 1 cup
  3. Water – 4 cups
  4. Cloves and cinnamon – 4 each

How to prepare Irumban Puli Serbat (Bilimbi Serbat)?

  1. Wash the bilimbis and keep them aside.
  2. Boil 4 cups of water in it.
  3. Add sugar also, mix well, and allow to cool.
  4. Make a bundle of cloves and cinnamon using a cotton cloth and immerse it in this solution.
  5. You can serve after 10 days.

Note: You can also serve this drink without adding water. You can prepare 2 bottles of Ilumban Puli Serbat using the above method. One glass of drink contains energy 7%, vitamin A -1 %, and Vitamin C – 1.5 %.
