Idli Egg Upma - leftover recipe

Ingredients for Idli Egg Upma:

  1. Leftover idlis – 6
  2. Oil – A little
  3. Chilli powder – A little
    Salt – As per taste
  4. Oil – 2 small spoons
  5. Mustard – Half a small spoon
  6. Onions – 2, cut into square pieces
    Curry leaves – As per requirement
  7. Eggs – 2
  8. Crushed chillies – Half a small spoon

How to prepare Idli Egg Upma?

  1.  Cut each idli into 6 pieces.
  2. Heat a little oil in a pan and fry the idlis.
  3.  And salt and chilli powder, and take the idli pieces from the flame.
  4. In the same pan, heat oil and add mustard seeds.
  5. Add ingredients 6, and when the raw smell goes out, add eggs and scramble them.
  6. Add fried idlis to it and sprinkle crushed chillies on top.
  7. Check salt and serve hot.
