Greek Fish

Ingredients for Greek Fish:

1. Fish – ½ kilogram (cut into pieces without spines)

2. Lemon juice – 1 big spoon

    Salt – For taste

    Turmeric powder – 1 small spoon

    Pepper powder – 1 small spoon

    Chilli powder – As required

3. Egg white yolk – As required

    Bread crumbs – As required

4. Oil – For frying

For sauce:

5. Seedless dry raisins – 2 big spoons

6. Green chillies – 2 or 3, chopped fine

    Garlic – 4 or 5 cloves, chopped fine

    Ginger – ½ inch piece, chopped fine

7. Tomato sauce – ½ cup

    Vinegar – 1.5 big spoons

    Sugar – 1 big spoon

How to prepare Greek Fish?

1. Mix ingredients no: 2 and marinate fish using this paste.

2. Allow to rest the fish for one hour.

3. Dip fish pieces in beaten white yolk, wrap them in bread crumbs and deep fry in hot oil.

4. Fish should be well cooked and pieces should turn golden brown.

5. Transfer fish to a serving plate.

6. In the remaining oil fry raisins followed by ingredients no: 6.

7. Add ingredients no: 7, mix well and reduce the flame.

8. Cook for a few more minutes and pour on the top of fried fish.

9. Serve hot.
