Baked Crab recipe

Ingredients for Baked Crab:

  1. Big-sized crab – 4
  2. Onions chopped fine – 2
  3. Green chillies chopped – 4
  4. Ginger chopped fine – 1 tsp
  5. Pepper powder – ½ tsp
  6. Coriander leaves chopped fine – ½ cup
  7. Chilli powder – ½ tsp
  8. Butter – ½ tsp
  9. Maida – 2 tablespoons
  10. Milk – ¾ cup
  11. Bread crumbs – 2 tablespoons
  12. Refined oil – 2 tsp
  13. Salt – For taste

How to prepare Baked Crab?

  1. Wash the crabs and cook them, adding enough water.
  2. Cut the crab into two pieces and remove shells.
  3.  Separate intestine portions too.
  4. Take meat portions and keep them separate.
  5. Heat oil and sauté onions, green chillies and ginger.
  6. Add crab meat, coriander leaves and a little salt.
  7. Mix the contents well and take them from the flame.
  8. Melt butter in a pan, add maida and stir for a while.
  9. Add milk little by little, and allow it to thicken.
  10. Add salt and pepper.
  11. Wash the shells of crabs and fill the crab masala inside each one.
  12. Pour a little milk-maida mixture on its top, and spread bread crumbs.
  13. Grease a baking tray with a little ghee and place the filled crabs on it.
  14. Bake it in the oven till the upper portion of the filled crabs slightly turns brown.
