Easy Meat Curry recipe

Ingredients for Easy Meat Curry:

  1. Chicken/Mutton 1 kg – Breast pieces/1 big piece
  2. Crushed chillies – 3 small spoons
    Kashmiri chilli powder – 1.5 small spoons
    Turmeric powder – ½ small spoon
    Pepper crushed – 1 small spoon
    Cumin – 1 small spoon
    Fennel seeds – 1 big spoon
    Cinnamon – 2 pieces
    Cardamom, cloves – 3 each
    Mace – 1
    Star anise – 1
  3. Vinegar – 1/4 cup
  4. Coconut oil – 2 big spoons
  5. Onion – 2, chopped fine
    Shallots chopped – 1 cup
    Curry leaves – As needed
    Green chillies – 3
  6. Salt – As needed
    Sugar – A pinch
  7. Roasted potato, carrot, broccoli – To garnish

How to prepare Easy Meat Curry?

  1. Soak ingredients no: 2 in vinegar for 10 minutes and make a paste.
  2. Marinate chicken/mutton pieces using half of this paste.
  3. Heat a little oil and fry the marinated piece.
  4. Fry till it turns golden brown.
  5. Heat oil in a pan and sauté ingredients no: 5.
  6. Add the remaining gravy, along with salt and sugar and sauté again.
  7. Add a meat piece, mix well and transfer the contents to a pressure cooker.
  8.  Cook the meat till it’s done.
  9. Remove the meat piece and boil the gravy on a low flame.
  10. Slice the meat pieces and add them back to the gravy.
  11. Decorate your chicken/mutton curry with roasted ingredients no: 7.
