
Ingredients for Cumin Chicken (Jeeraka Kozhi):
- Chicken cut into pieces – 1, full
- Turmeric powder – ¾ tsp
- Chilli powder – ½ tsp
- Ginger-garlic crushed – 1.5 tablespoons
- Cumin paste – 2 tablespoons
- Shallots – 1 cup
- Salt – For taste
- Coconut oil – 1.5 tablespoons
- Coconut milk (thick) – ¾ cup
- Pepper powder – 2 tablespoons
- Ghee – 1 tablespoon
- Shallots chopped lengthwise – ½ cup
How to prepare Cumin Chicken (Jeeraka Kozhi)?
- Marinate chicken pieces using ingredients 2-5.
- In a cooker or non-stick pan, pour oil and sauté shallots.
- Add chicken along with salt, close the lid, and cook.
- When the chicken is well-cooked, add coconut milk and pepper powder.
- Turn off the flame.
