Christmas Upside Down Cake recipe

Ingredients for Christmas Upside Down Cake:

1. Saltless butter – ¼ cup

   Brown sugar – ½ cup

   Corn syrup – 1 big spoon

   Cinnamon powder – ¼ small spoon

   Ginger paste – ¼ small spoon

2. Dry fruits – 1 cup

    Nuts – ¼ cup (optional)

3. Maida – 1.5 cups

    Baking powder – 2 small spoons

    Salt – ¼ small spoon

4. Saltless butter at room temperature – ½ cup

    Sugar – 1 cup

    Vanilla essence – 1 small spoon

5. Eggs – 2

6. Milk – ½ cup

How to prepare Christmas Upside Down Cake?

1. Pre-heat oven to 180 degree celsious.

2. Take a pan with a 9-inch surface area and grease it. Place a butter paper inside.

3. Mix ingredients no: 1 in a medium-sized pan.

4. Heat the pan on a low flame till the butter melts completely and turns soft.

5. At this temperature itself pour this mixture into the pan and spread a few nuts and dry fruits.

6. Blend ingredients no: 3 in a pan.

7. Beat together ingredients no: 4 and add the yellow yolk. Beat the contents.

8. Add the maida mixture and milk alternatively and mix well.

9. Beat the white yolk till it turns thick and forms small hill-like structures.

10. Add it to the prepared batter and mix it slowly.

11. Pour it on the top of the dry fruits – nuts mixture.

12. In the pre-heated oven, bake the cake for 20-25 minutes till it turns brown.

13. Once you take the cake from the oven, allow it to cool for the next three minutes.

14. Turn it upside down on a serving plate.
