Ingredients for Chocolate Biscuit Layers:
- Milk – 1½ cups
- Cornflour – 3 tbsp + 1 tsp
- Heavy cream – ½ cup
Sugar – ¼ cup
Cocoa powder – 1 tbsp + 1 tsp - Dark chocolate – 80 g, finely chopped
- Biscuits – 15 to 20
- Milk – ½ cup
Coffee powder – 1½ tsp (optional)
How to prepare Chocolate Biscuit Layers?
- Mix ¼ cup milk with cornflour in a small bowl and keep aside.
- Heat the remaining milk with ingredients no: 3.
- When the sugar dissolves, reduce the flame and add the cornflour mixture.
- Stir continuously and cook until this mixture thickens.
- When the mixture thickens, add the chopped dark chocolate and mix well until fully melted.
- Dip one-third of the biscuits in milk or coffee-mixed milk and arrange in the serving dish.
- Spread one-third of the prepared chocolate cream mixture over the biscuit layer.
- Repeat the biscuit and chocolate cream layers two more times.
- Cover the dish and refrigerate for 4 hours until set.
- Garnish your chocolate dessert with grated chocolate and serve.
