Chinese Dumpling
Ingredients for Chinese Dumpling:
1. Oil – As required
Garlic (crushed with skin) – 2 small spoons
2. Green chilli (roundly chopped) – 2 small spoons
Ginger (thinly sliced) – 1 small spoon
Onion (finely chopped) – ½ cup
3. Chicken (boiled and shredded) – 1 cup
Fish or Prawns (finely chopped) – 1 cup
Liver (finely chopped) – ¼ cup
4. Carrot, Beans, Cabbage (thinly sliced) – ½ cup each
Celery (finely chopped) – 2 small spoons
Salt – As required
5. Butter – 4 small spoons
Water – 1 cup
Salt – As required
6. All-purpose flour – 2 cups
Eggs – 3
How to prepare Chinese Dumpling?
1. Heat oil in a pan and sauté crushed garlic.
2. Add chopped green chilli, ginger, and onion one after another and sauté well.
3. Add shredded chicken, fish or prawns, and finely chopped liver. Cover and cook. Sprinkle water if needed.
4. Add chopped carrot, beans, cabbage, celery, and salt. Stir well until cooked. Set aside.
5. To prepare the dumpling dough, boil butter, water, and salt in a large pan.
6. Once it boils, add all-purpose flour and stir continuously.
7. Add eggs and knead into a dough similar to chapati dough. Make small balls.
8. Flatten the dough, place the filling inside, and seal the edges.
9. Steam the dumplings and serve hot.
