Chicken Stuffed Paratha

Ingredients for Chicken Stuffed Paratha:

1. Ghee/Oil – 3 big spoons

2. Ginger – 1-inch piece, chopped

    Garlic – 6 cloves, chopped

3. Chicken minced – 250 gm

4. Garam masala powder – ½ small spoon

    Chilli powder – ½ small spoon

    Salt – For taste

5. Tomato – 2, chopped fine

6. Onions – 1, chopped fine

    Coriander leaves chopped fine – ½ cup

7. Wheat flour blended – ½ kg

    Salt – ¼ small spoon

8. Ghee – 1 big spoon

How to prepare Chicken Stuffed Paratha?

1. Heat oil/ghee and sauté ginger and garlic.

2. Add minced meat and cook in low flame.

3. Add ingredients no: 4 and fry it well, followed by chopped tomatoes.

4. When a thin layer of oil appears on the surface, add ingredients no: 6.

5. Sauté the contents well and allow it to cool. This chicken masala is used to stuff the chapatti.

6. Add salt to wheat flour and blend it well.

7. Add ghee to it and mix the flour well using hands.

8. Add sufficient water and knead the dough for chapatti.

9. Mould it into a roll of 2-inch diameter, lengthwise and make small pieces from it.

10. Make small balls from each piece and spread them to chapatis.

11. Take one chapatti and place a little filling on its top as a layer.

12. Fix another chapatti on its top and stick it well. The filling should be fully enclosed.

13. Now roll each stuffed chapatti once again using a rolling pin to make it a little thinner than before.

14. Heat a tawa and pour a little oil.

15. Cook each chapatti in this pan by flipping both sides.

16. Continue cooking till both sides turn slight brown, and add extra oil/ghee/butter if needed.

17. Your stuffed parathas should turn crispy and you can serve raitha as side dish.
