Chicken Roast (Recipe 1)
Ingredients for Chicken Roast:
- Chicken – 1 kg
- Red chillies – 20, after removing seeds
Onions – 2 or 3
Garlic – 1, as a whole
Ginger – 1-inch piece
Couscous – 1 big spoon
Pepper – As required
Cloves and cardamom – As required
Turmeric powder – 1 small spoon
Salt – As required - Vinegar – For grinding
- Oil – For frying
- Salt – As required
Maida – 1 small spoon
How to prepare Chicken Roast?
- Cut the chicken into pieces.
- Make a fine paste of ingredients no: 2, adding vinegar and marinate the chicken.
- Allow it to rest for a while.
- Cook chicken, adding sufficient water.
- Take chicken pieces from the gravy and deep fry in hot oil.
- Add maida to the remaining gravy, check salt and cook it till the gravy turns thick.
- Serve this gravy alongside the chicken roast.

Chicken Roast (Recipe 2)

Ingredients for Chicken Roast (Recipe 2):
- Chicken – 1, small-sized
- Chilli powder – 2-3 big spoons
Turmeric powder – ½ small spoon
Salt – For taste - Oil – As required
- Onion – 6, chopped
Ginger-garlic paste – 1 small spoon
Tomato – 2, chopped - Chilli powder – 1 small spoon (if only needed)
Turmeric powder – ½ small spoon
Garam masala powder – 1 small spoon
How to prepare Chicken Roast (Recipe 2)?
- Cut the chicken into small pieces.
- Marinate chicken pieces using ingredients no: 2, and allow them to rest for a while.
- Heat oil and fry chicken pieces till it is half done.
- In the remaining oil, sauté ingredients no: 4, and add the curry powders.
- When the raw smell goes out, and the curry powders are well fried, add chicken pieces.
- Add extra salt if needed and cook the chicken till it’s done.
