Ingredients for Chemparathi Poo Payasam (Hibiscus Flower Payasam):
- Hibiscus flower (red) – 10
- Ghee – 1 big spoon
- Sugar – 1 big spoon
- Tender coconut pieces (Karikk) – 1 big spoon
- Coconut milk – 250 milli
- Cardamom powder – A pinch
How to prepare Chemparathi Poo Payasam (Hibiscus Flower Payasam)?
- Peel the hibiscus petals and clean them.
- Heat ghee in a pan and sauté hibiscus flowers and sugar.
- When the mixture turns purple, add tender coconut pieces and sauté again.
- Add coconut milk, mix well, and turn off the flame.
- Add a pinch of cardamom powder and serve.
