Boondi ki Laddu recipe

Ingredients for Boondi ki Laddu:

1. Gram flour (besan) – 150 gm

    Yellow food colour – 3 drops (optional)

    Water – ¼ cup+ 3 big spoons

    Baking soda – ¼ of a small spoon

2. Oil/ghee – For frying

3. Sugar – 1.25 cups

    Water -1/2 cup

4. Ghee – 1 big spoon

5. Raisins – 2 big spoons

    Cashews – 2 big spoons

    Cloves – 5

6. Cardamom powder – ¼ small spoon

How to prepare Boondi ki Laddu?

1. Mix ingredients no: 1 together and prepare a thick batter.

2. Heat ghee/oil in a pan.

3. Pour batter through a spatula or spoon with small pores into the oil. Keep the flame medium.

4. Before the boondis turn crispy, strain them from the oil and place them on a paper towel.

5. Add water to the sugar and boil on a low flame.

6. When it turns thread-like, put off the flame and allow it to cool for 5 minutes.

7. Pour this solution on top of the boondis.

8. Fry ingredients no: 5 in ghee and add to boondis.

9. Add cardamom powder also and mix the contents well.

10. Allow the boondis to fully absorb the sugar solution.

11. Make round-shaped ladoos before they completely cool off.
