Beef Piralan (Beef Dry Fry)

Ingredients for Beef Piralan (Beef Dry Fry):

1. Beef – 1 kg, cut into pieces

2. Coriander powder – 1.5 big spoons

    Chilli powder – 1 small spoon

    Turmeric powder – ½ small spoon

3. Oil – 2 big spoons

4. Mustard – 1 small spoon

5. Onions sliced thin – ½ cup

    Garlic – 14 cloves

    Ginger chopped – 2 small spoons

    Green chillies – 4, end split

    Curry leaves – A handful

6. Vinegar – 1 big spoon

    Salt – For taste

7. Potatoes – 3, cut into pieces

8. Coconut milk 1st extract – ½ cup

    Coconut milk 2nd extract – 2 cups

How to prepare Beef Piralan (Beef Dry Fry)?

1. Clean and cut beef to pieces.

2. Add a little water to ingredients no: 2 and make a paste.

3. Heat oil and sputter mustard seeds.

4. Sauté ingredients no: 5.

5. Add the masala paste to it and fry it well.

6. Add beef, vinegar and salt, and sauté for 5 minutes.

7. Add coconut milk 2nd extract and cook beef in a pressure cooker.

8. When beef is well cooked, add pieces of 2 potatoes and cook again.

9. When it’s done, add coconut milk 1st extract and cook again till gravy thickens.

10. Take off from flame.

11. Fry the remaining potato pieces (from 1 potato) and decorate your curry.

12. Serve hot.
