Cashewnut Thoran (Kasuvandi Paripp Thoran)

Ingredients for Cashewnut Thoran (Kasuvandi Paripp Thoran):

1. Cashews – 1 cup

2. Salt – As required

    Water – For preparation

3. Coconut scrapped – ½ cup

    Garlic – 2 cloves

    Cumin seeds – ½ small spoon

    Turmeric powder – ½ small spoon

    Green chillies – 2, chopped fine

    Water – A little

4. Coconut oil – 2 big spoons

5. Shallots – 3, chopped fine

    Red chillies – 2, chopped fine

    Curry leaves – As required

How to prepare Cashewnut Thoran (Kasuvandi Paripp Thoran)?

1. Cook cashews adding sufficient salt and water.

2. Blend once ingredients no: 3 in a mixer.

3. Heat oil in a pan and sauté ingredients no: 5.

4. Add gravy to it and sauté for 5 minutes.

5. Add cooked cashews, mix well and cook for 5 for minutes.

6. Turn off the flame.
