Veg Kofta Curry
Ingredients for Veg Kofta Curry:
1. Paneer – 250 gm
2. Corn flour – 2 small spoons
Chilli powder – ½ small spoon
Baking powder – ½ small spoon
Coriander leaves chopped – 1 big spoon
Salt – For taste
3. Oil – For frying
4. Onions – 1 big
Coconut scrapped – ¼ cup
Cashews – 1/3 cup
5. Cloves – 3 or 4
Chilli powder – 1 small spoon
Garlic – 7 cloves
Cardamom – 2 or 3
Cinnamon – 1-inch piece
Coriander powder – 2 small spoons
Ginger chopped – 1 small spoon
Green chillies – 2
6. Tomato – 3
7. Ghee – 3 big spoons
8. Sugar – 2 small spoons
9. Black salt – ½ small spoon
10. Coriander leaves chopped – 1 small bundle
11. Cream – 50 gm
How to prepare Veg Kofta Curry?
1. Take paneer in a bowl and mix well.
2. Add ingredients no: 2 and mix well. Make small balls.
3. Deep fry these paneer balls in hot oil.
4. Grind ingredients no: 4 one after one, and keep separate.
5. Make a fine paste of ingredients no: 5. This is the masala.
6. Put tomatoes in boiling water.
7. Take them out and remove skin and seeds. Chop into small pieces.
8. Heat ghee and add sugar.
9. Sauté till it turns brown and add onion paste.
10. Sauté the contents, and then add coconut paste and cashew paste.
11. When the water content is fully absorbed, add masala and sauté again.
12. Add tomato and mix well.
13. Add 1 cup of hot water and black salt.
14. When the contents boil well, add the fried kofta and gently well.
15. Put off the flame and decorate with coriander leaves.
16. Pour cream on its top just before you serve.
