Rava Laddu (Recipe 1)

Ingredients for Rava Laddu:

  1. Rava – 2 cups
  2. Sugar – 2 cups
  3. Cloves – 8
  4. Cashew nuts – 10
  5. Ghee – 35 gms
  6. Raisins – 20 gm
  7. Milk – as needed

How to prepare Rava Laddu?

  1. Fry cashew nuts and raisins in hot ghee and keep them aside.
  2. In the remaining ghee, fry rava till it becomes golden colour. Add full ghee.
  3. Then mix it with sugar, crushed cloves, and fried cashew nuts and raisins. Keep frying, sprinkling a little milk.
  4. Turn the flame off when the sugar turns its colour.
  5. Apply ghee to your hands and make small rava ladoos.
Note: Never keep the mixture too long in the hearth. It may be overcooked.

Rava Laddu (Recipe 2)

Ingredients for Rava Laddu (Recipe 2):

1. Semolina roasted and powdered – 1 cup

    Sugar powdered – 1.5 cups

    Cashews broken and raisins fried in ghee – 4 big spoons each

    Cardamom powder – ¼ small spoon

2. Ghee – ½ cup

How to prepare Rava Laddu (Recipe 2)?

1. Mix together ingredients no: 1.

2. Heat ghee and add it to the above semolina mixture.

3. Mix it well and make small balls.
