
Ingredients for Pazham Bonda:
- Maida – 1 cup
Cherupazham (Palayankodan banana or any banana of small type) – 3, finely ground
Sugar – 4 big spoons
Baking soda – ¼ of a small spoon
Salt – As required - Milk – To make maida dough
- Oil – To fry
How to prepare Pazham Bonda?
- In a bowl, mix together all ingredients listed as 1.
- Add sufficient milk and mix well. Take care not to form lumps.
- The batter should not be too stiff or too loose.
- Heat oil in a pan. Pour one big spoonful of batter into the boiling oil.
- Fry till golden brown and serve hot.
- If you cook on a low flame, the inner side of the Pazham Bonda cooks well.
