
Ingredients for Mutton Biryani:
- Mutton โ 1 kg
- End split green chillies โ 12
- Onion โ 6
- Shallots โ 10
- Garlic crushed โ 6
- Ginger crushed โ 4 pieces
- Turmeric powder โ ยผ tsp
- Salt โ as needed
- Vanaspathi โ 1 cup
- Ghee โ 8 dessert spoon
- Tomato – 1
- Lemon – 1
- Garam masala powder – 2 dessert spoon
- Mint leaves sliced into small pieces โ 2 bundles
- Coriander leaves sliced โ 4 bundles
- Curd โ ยฝ cup
- Cashew โ 100gm
- Raisins โ 50 gm
- Cumin seeds โ 2 dessert spoon
- Cinnamon 1 inch pieces โ 3
- Cloves โ 6
- Cardamom โ 6
- Star anis pods โ 3
- Rice โ 750 gm
- Pine apple pieces โ 150 gm
How to prepare Mutton Biryani?
- Sautรฉ ingredients 2-7 in ยพ cup vanaspathi and 6 dessert spoon ghee. Add salt, tomato, lemon juice, garam masala powder, mint leaves and coriander leaves as well. Saute it well.
- Add meat along with curd and cook it well.
- Fry some onions in vanaspathi to golden brown colour.
- Fry raisins and cashew in ghee and keep aside.
- Half cook rice using cumin seeds, cinnamon, cloves, cardamom and star anis pods.
- Spread this rice on top of cooked mutton. Sprinkle remaining leaves, pine apple, cashew nuts, raisins and fried onions on top. Pour remaining ghee and vanaspathi as well.
- Close the biryani vessel tightly with lid and seal suing maida flour.
- Bake it and use.
