Movie, Picnic is a movie based on the theme of incarnation. I watched the Malayalam version long ago. Picnic is one of the biggest hits of Prem Nazir, also addressed as ‘Evergreen Hero of Malayalam’ (Nithya Haritha Nayakan).
This song always gives me a glimpse of B’wood style of music of the 1960s & 1970s. Picnic is one among the last works of A. R. Rahman’s father as a music conductor, before his demise. Music was a huge hit. An unsung hero – R. K. Shekhar.
