Tomato – Coconut Shorba

Ingredients for Tomato – Coconut Shorba:

1. Well ripen tomato – 1 kg

    Carrot – 1

2. Ginger grated – 1 small spoon

3. Butter – 1 big spoon

4. Cumin seeds – ¼ small spoon

    Garlic – 2 or 3 cloves, cut into fine pieces

5. Salt – As required

    Sugar – 1 small spoon

    Green chillies – 2, cut into tiny pieces

    Water – 1 cup

6. Coconut milk 1st extract – 1 cup

    Pepper powder – ½ small spoon

How to prepare Tomato – Coconut Shorba?

1. Wash tomatoes and carrot, and immerse in boiled water for 10 minutes.

2. Grind them in a mixer and extract the juice.

3. Heat ghee and sauté cumin seeds, ginger and garlic for 1 minute.

4. Add tomato mixture to it along with ingredients no; 5 and boil for 5 minutes.

5. Put the flame off and add coconut milk and pepper powder.

6. Mix the ingredients well and serve hot.
