Tanish – Telugu Film actor and former child artist

Tanish is a popular film actor belonging to Telugu cinema. He is mostly associated with supporting roles, and has also played lead roles on screen. He is a former child artist of Telugu screen in the late 1990s till mid-2000s. He started his acting career as a child artist through Premante Idera released in 1998, and moved to adult roles with Nachavule in 2008, playing lead role and later established in the industry with noted supporting roles. Tanish also earned fame and popularity through celebrity reality show, Bigg Boss Telugu 2. He was the second runner-up of the show.

Tanish was born in Kadapa, Andhra Pradesh. As he lost his father at a young age, as the eldest kid he had to support his family including two younger brothers. In 1998, he started his film journey as a child artist. He played child roles till 2006. Premante Idera, Devullu, Manmadhudu etc are some of his noted roles as a child artist. Since 2008 he plays adult actor roles. He played lead role in Nachavule – his first movie as adult actor. The following year his supporting role in Ride got noticed. Since then he accepted both lead and supporting roles. He was paired with Ramya Nambeesan for 2013 movie, Telugabbai.

As his movies in solo lead role failed one after another, he started accepting multi-starrer films, which gave him recognition. Pandavulu Pandavulu Thummeda and Nakshatram are among such noted appearances, which gave him commercial success. He was one among the 16 contestants of Bigg Boss Telugu season 2, and finished at third position.

Tanish – Some interesting and less-known facts

1. He was among those Telugu celebrities who got into drug controversy in 2017.

2. In 2019 actor Kaushal Manda accused him of snatching a role from a film, which Manda was supposed to do. However Tanish denied all these allegations.
