Soya Poha

Ingredients for Soya Poha:

  1. Soya granules – Half cup
  2. Salt – As needed
    Turmeric powder – One-fourth teaspoon
  3. Poha (Aval/flattened rice) – One cup (Thick type)
  4. Oil – Two tablespoons
  5. Onion – One-fourth cup, chopped
  6. Tomato – Half, chopped
  7. Carrot, finely chopped – Two tablespoons
    Beans finely chopped – Two tablespoons
    Turmeric powder – One-fourth teaspoon
    Salt – As needed
    Chilli powder – Half a teaspoon

How to prepare Soya Poha?

  1. Wash the soya granules well, add salt and turmeric powder, and soak them in boiling water.
  2. Wash the poha three times, drain the water, and keep it aside to soften.
  3. Heat oil in a pan, sauté the onion well, then add the tomato and sauté again.
  4. Add the ingredients listed in section 7, mix and cook well.
  5. Add the soya mixture and poha, mix thoroughly, heat well, and remove from the stove.
