Paneer Stuffed Green Pepper
Ingredients for Paneer Stuffed Green Pepper:
1. Green capsicum – 4 small/3 big
2. Olive oil – As required
3. Onions – 1 big, chopped fine
4. Chilli powder – ½ small spoon
5. Paneer – 500 gm, powdered
6. Cinnamon powdered – 1 small spoon
Salt and pepper – For taste
7. Coriander leaves chopped – ½ cup
8. Garlic – 3 cloves, chopped
Ginger chopped fine – 1 small spoon
9. Chilli powder – ½ small spoon
10. Tomato – 2 big, chopped fine
11. Salt – As required
12. Curd – 1 cup
How to prepare Paneer Stuffed Green Pepper?
1. Wash capsicum and cut each one just beneath the stalk, like a lid.
2. Remove the seeds and other parts to get hollow pockets.
3. Heat olive oil and sauté onions, followed by chilli powder.
4. Add paneer and mix the contents well.
5. Add ingredients no: 6 and sauté again, followed by coriander leaves.
6. Mix the contents well and put off the flame. This is used as filling.
7. Fill this paneer filling inside each capsicum and cover it using a lid.
8. Use toothpicks to fix the lids well.
9. Take a big pan with a lid.
10. Heat olive oil and sauté ginger and garlic.
11. When it is done, add red chilli powder and fry well.
12. Add tomato pieces and sauté for 3-4 minutes.
13. Add salt and mix the contents well.
14. Add beaten curd to it and stir well.
15. Place capsicums inside this gravy gently and close the lid of the pan.
16. Cook it in low flame for 30-40 minutes.
17. Occasionally mix the gravy to avoid sticking to the bottom of pan.
18. Make sure that capsicum doesn’t break, while stirring.
19. Serve hot.
