Paneer Mango Curry recipe

Ingredients for Paneer Mango Curry:

1. Paneer – 250 gm

2. Green mango – 1

3. Salt, turmeric powder – As needed

4. Coconut – 1

5. Chilli powder – 1 big spoon

    Coriander powder – 1/2 a big spoon

    Turmeric powder – ½ small spoon

6. Oil – 2 big spoons

7. Onion – 1, sliced thin

    Ginger – 1 piece, sliced thin

    Green chillies – 4, cut lengthwise

    Salt – For taste

8. Coconut oil – 2 big spoons

9. Mustard – 1 small spoon

    Red chillies – 2, cut into pieces

    Curry leaves – 1 stem

10. Chilli powder – ¼ small spoon

      Turmeric powder – A pinch

How to prepare Paneer Mango Curry?

1. Cut paneer into small square pieces.

2. Remove the skin of the mango and slice it in a slanting style.

3. Marinate mango slices with salt and turmeric.

4. Extract 1 cup of the first milk and 2 cups of the second milk from the grated coconut.

5. Make a fine paste of ingredients no: 5.

6. Heat oil and sauté ingredients no: 7.

7. When onions turn brown, add the gravy and continue sauting till the raw smell goes away.

8. Add the second coconut milk and allow to boil.

9. Wash mango pieces in cold water and add to the coconut milk.

10. Cook the mango in this milk. But never overcook it.

11. Add the first milk, along with the paneer cubes and turn off the flame just before the curry boils.

12. Heat oil and temper ingredients no: 9.

13. Put off the flame and add ingredients no: 10.

14. Pour it into the curry and mix well.
