Onions contain Quercetin, a powerful antioxidant that helps reduce inflammation, and also Sulphur. Tomatoes contain lycopene — a powerful antioxidant responsible for their bright red color. Here is a healthy Onion Tomato Salad with Mushrooms, which can be taken along with main course dishes.
Ingredients for Onion Tomato Salad with Mushrooms:
- Mushrooms – 50 gms, chopped into pieces
- Pista/Peanuts – 20 gms
Sunflower seeds – 15 gms
Tomatoes chopped – 50 gms
Onions chopped – 30 gms - Apple cider vinegar – As needed
Salt and pepper powder – As per taste - Virgin coconut oil – 1 big spoon
How to prepare Onion Tomato Salad with Mushrooms?
- Steam-cook the mushrooms for a few minutes.
- Take 2nd set of ingredients in a serving bowl and add mushrooms to it. Mix well.
- Add the third set of ingredients to the mushrooms, and mix and gently toss them.
- Finally, add 1 big spoon of virgin coconut oil and serve.
