Nadan Chicken Fry
Ingredients for Nadan Chicken Fry:
1. Boneless chicken – ½ kg (cut into small pieces)
2. Spicy chilli powder – 1 table spoon
3. Coriander powder – ¼ tablespoon
4. Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
5. Chicken masala – ½ tablespoon
6. Fennel seeds powdered – ½ table spoon
7. Ginger paste – ½ tablespoon
8. Garlic paste – ½ tablespoon
9. Salt – As required
10. Lemon juice – From 1 lemon
11. Curry leaves – As required
12. Coconut oil – For shallow fry
How to prepare Nadan Chicken Fry?
1. Marinate chicken using all the ingredients except curry leaves and oil.
2. Keep it in refrigerator for 1 hour, so that chicken is well marinated with masala.
3. Heat a pan and pour a little oil (You need oil just to cook/shallow fry chicken).
4. When oil heats, add chicken to it.
5. When one side is well fried, flip once and cook the other side too.
6. When it’s almost done, add a few curry leaves.
7. You can also fry chicken in two or three trips.
Note: You can substitute lemon juice with sour curd, if you please.
