Mutton Curry

Ingredients for Mutton Curry:

1. Coriander – 1 big spoon

    Red chillies – 6

2. Cloves – 4

    Cinnamon – 2 pieces

    Fennel seeds – ½ small spoon

    Turmeric powder – ½ small spoon

    Fenugreek – 2 pinch

3. Coconut scrapped – ½ cup

4. Tomato – 1, medium sized

5. Oil -2 big spoons

6. Mustard – ½ small spoon

7. Onions sliced – 1 cup

8. Ginger paste – 1 small spoon

    Garlic paste – 1 small spoon

9. Mutton – ½ kg

10. Salt – As needed

11. Potato – 1

How to prepare Mutton Curry?

1. Fry coriander seeds and red chillies without adding oil.

2. Make a fine powder, along with ingredients no: 2.

3. Fry scrapped coconut till it turn light brown, and make a fine paste.

4. Put tomato in boiling water, take it out and put in cold water.

5. Make a fine paste of tomato, adding half cup water.

6. Heat oil and sputter mustard.

7. Add ½ cup onion and sauté it till it turns light brown.

8. Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté again.

9. Add the powdered masala, followed by mutton and remaining half cup onions.

10. Sauté it well and then add boiling water and salt.

11. Close the lid and cook mutton.

12. When it’s 3/4th done, add tomato paste and coconut paste.

13. Mix the ingredients well and close the lid.

14. Cook till mutton is cooked well and gravy thickens.

15. Grate potato and deep fry in hot oil.

16. Sprinkle this potato on the top of mutton curry.

17. Serve your mutton curry with chapati.
