Arya Satheesh Babu (Arya Rohit) – Malayalam television actress and TV anchor of ‘Badai Bungalow’ fame

Arya Satheesh Babu, formerly known as Arya Rohit is a model, anchor and actress who plays supporting roles. As a professional, she shot to fame when she became a part of the popular sitcom – Badai Bungalow, where she shares screen space with Mukesh and Ramesh Pisharody. Her comedy timing and screen chemistry with Ramesh Pisharody in the show made her a household name among Malayali audiences. Arya has been a part of Malayalam movies – Kunjiramayanam, Thoppil Joppan, Punyalan Private Limited, Alamara, Pretham, Lailaa O Lailaa and Oru Second Class Yathra. Her role as bold Pooja in TV show Sthreedhanam and also Achante Makal were well received.

Arya Rohit, now called Arya Satheesh Babu was born in Palkulangara of Thiruvananthapuram district. Trained in different dance forms since young, she pursued a career in modeling before moving to small screen. Initially she anchored shows, before taking acting roles. Nestle Munch Stars gave her big break, where she appeared as the host. “Officer” was her first TV serial which she did during her plus-2 studies, followed by Tamil show, “Maharani“. She is now estranged from her husband Rohit Susheelan, an IT professional and son of a retired Deputy Commandant of Police. Noted TV anchor Archana Suseelan is the sister of Rohit. She is bringing up her daughter as a single-mom. She also lost her father and brother a few months back, around at the time of separation.
