Majeed Memon is an Indian politician and parliamentarian who currently serves as a member of the Rajya Sabha. He represents the state of Maharashtra and is affiliated with the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP). He joined the office in April 2014. He is also a renowned criminal lawyer, whose clients include high-profile politicians, film celebrities, and activists. His son, Zulfiquar Memon, is also a criminal lawyer based in Mumbai.

Majeed Memon was born in Mumbai in 1945 as the son of Haji Ahmed Memon. He is married to Shrimati Saeeda. As a politician, he is an NCP leader. As a criminal lawyer, he came to prominence in the early 1990s. He defended many of the accused of the 1993 Mumbai bomb blast. While serving as NCP state secretary in 2005, Memon was shot at by unknown persons. It was alleged that accused 5 were gang members of Ravi Pujari.

4. In 2005, there was a murder attempt on Memon. He was shot by unidentified persons, and he narrowly escaped. Though charge sheets were filed against 5 people, the case is still pending.
